Gathering With A Purpose - an introductory session for TimeBank coordinators

In this introductory session, we'll look at how others have successfully used the 'Gathering With A Purpose' workshop.

For beginners as well as seasoned TimeBankers, the aim of the Gathering With A Purpose workshop is to inspire new action and teamwork - the TimeBanking way - and talk about your next steps as a coordinator planning a workshop yourself.

The workshop is centered on TimeBanking basics:

• The golden rule that 1 hour = 1 credit.
• The TimeBanking core values.

There are a lot of fun activities in this workshop; for example, you’ll be encouraging your members to make a TimeBank exchange and explore how the exchange process works from both perspectives - as the 'provider' or 'receiver' of an exchange. We'll also provide you with the tools to lead your own 'Gathering With A Purpose' workshop in the future.
